INDIANA AFL-CIO LIFT HOLDS STATE-WIDE TAA FORUM

Indiana AFL-CIO LIFT convened a statewide forum on dissemination of TAA information, basic tools for responding to trade impacted dislocation, identification of best practices, and assessment of system delivery challenges on July 14, 2011. The statewide forum was held in Indianapolis at the UAW/Rolls-Royce Training Center. Approximately 85 individuals registered for the event and approximately 75 attended. State agency representatives participated along with representatives from the Whirlpool/Evansville and Navistar/Indianapolis plant closures, Great Lakes Trade Adjustment Assistance Center, Indiana Manufacturing Extension Partnership/Purdue Technical Assistance Program, and US DOL Office of Recovery for Auto Communities and Workers
