MICHIGAN HRDI HOLDS TWO STATE-WIDE TAA FORUMS

HRDI held two forums in August. The first was held in Warren, MI, at a local UAW hall and in Lansing, MI at a local UA Plumbers and Pipefitters hall. More than 80 people were in attendance for both forums. The planning team consisted of MI Human Resources Development Institute staff, with the assistance of WAI policy and field staff. Presentations by NELP, WAI, State of Michigan Trade Unit, Accenture (HCTC), and Front Line Staff administering the Trade Program about the TAA program and assistance to unions. MI HRDI staff facilitated Problem Solving & Solution Design sessions.
